“New” Home in the City
Upon moving back to St. Louis in 2008, Mandy and Kevin Kozminske looked at homes in University City, Glendale, Kirkwood, and Webster Groves before touring 6254 Delor. As Mandy recalls, “we loved the proximity, walkability, and charm of the neighborhood – the mature oak trees, sidewalks, unique homes, parks, churches, and children everywhere. We knew then that this was where we wanted to raise our family.”
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT – TWICE!
Kathleen Herring got her first look at 6427 Nottingham when it was on the 2010 House Tour. Two short years later, she moved into an apartment on the second floor. Then she moved into 1E, and has been there ever since.
Mediterranean Revival
6527 Nottingham was built for Miss Elsie Straube and Miss Lorene Ferguson in 1934 when Mediterranean Revival and Art Deco was in high style. Current owners, Gary and Nina Chastain, discovered their home was featured in Volume 1, Issue 1 of the October, 1935 St. Louis Hills Newsletter.
