SUMMARY:FootGolf
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for a great Saturday event that provides family fun at Francis? \nThe Elevens is a FootGolf tournament to be conducted throughout the natural landscape of Francis Park. This event will offer participants a terrific way to enjoy golf while combining the skill of soccer for a unique and fun option to ‘hit the links’. Participants can enjoy all the great amenities of Francis Park while competing with fellow neighbors\, friends\, and families in a great game of skill. The tournament itself follows the same basic rules of a standard golf tournament\, complete with scoring\, penalties\, hazards\, and strategy. \nThe Elevens\, part of the Friends of Francis Park organization\, is excited to deliver a fantastic event in proximity to where participants live and visit\, without the inflated cost/set-up and lengthy play times of regular golf. For a donation\, the participants receive a fun-filled activity in a beautiful neighborhood park\, complete with refreshing libations and all for a great cause! \nThe Elevens is a fantastic way to build camaraderie in our community with the option for friends and families to join for a round or for the entire day. With this event\, we can utilize the inner park while raising funds\, all culminating in a great community outdoor reception – complete with music\, food & drink\, and hole sponsors. \nThe event will conclude with the top scoring golfers returning for a 3-hole playoff\, conducted in front of a large gallery where we will crown our next Elevens FootGolf champion! \nIf you are interested in becoming a hole sponsor\, please contact Jim Robben directly at jim.robben@wwt.com \nAll proceeds will benefit the Friends of Francis Park in keeping the jewel of St Louis Hills\, the gem that it is. \nAn afternoon with golf played with a soccer ball throughout the jewel of 63109 – now that’s a hole in one!
