The 2015 Run for the Hills 5k was another great success for St. Louis Hills during an action packed September. The morning could not have been any more beautiful with perfect running weather and hundreds of runners racing around our neighborhood. The morning was full of personal accomplishments, kids, families, music,and great food while raising funds for our favorite park. The 2015 Run set a new record with 651 runners competing this year!
We are grateful for the hundreds of runners who participated this year and bring so much energy to the neighborhood. We are also thankful for nearly 100 volunteers who spring into action and make it look easy to coordinate a 5k fundraiser which has brought hundreds of thousands of dollars into Francis Park over 24 years. A special thanks goes to the Run planning committee – Judy Murphy, Gerry Murphy, John Burghoff, Courtney Leiendecker, Lynn Wolf, Rosemary Spitler, John Fuchs, Tom Gilmore, Steve Doss, Cathy Myrick, Matt Sallaberry, and Mike and Geralyn Banahan, Phil Mannhard, Alex Curtin, Todd Hoffmann, Donna Baringer and Matt Helbig.

Mark your calendars for September 17, 2016. It will be our 25th annual Run for the Hills and we welcome everyone to celebrate this very special St Louis Hills milestone with us by running, volunteering, sponsoring, or signing up as a neighborhood supporter and cheering on the runners.
