Dear friends in and outside of 63109,
I am writing to ask you to join our efforts in maintaining and enriching our local treasure Francis Park, by singing up to participate as a golfer at our inaugural Elevens FootGolf tournament, on September 15, 2018.
That’s right, as part of the Friends of Francis Park organization, we’re going to create a golf course complete with 11 holes spread throughout the park, and have friends and families play a round of FootGolf. Here are the details:
– We offer three times to choose from: 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.
– To sign up, simply email us at theelevensstl@gmail.com with a requested tee time.
– To secure your spot, we need to receive a $30 donation per golfer which can be done in three ways: a) PayPal: theelevensstl@gmail.com b) CashApp: $TheElevens c) Check made payable to ‘The Elevens’ and mailed to 6310 Devonshire, St Louis, MO 63109. No funds will be accepted that day.
– A FootGolf round at this event will take about 75-90 minutes to complete.
– This event is open to men, women, & older children. Please note that some of these holes are well over 100 yards, as such it may not be a fit for the lower grade school age kids.
– You can reserve a tee time as an individual, duo, trio, quartet or fivesome. Each of the 11 holes will be assigned a fivesome so we can place golfers together as need be.
– Included in your Entry Fee, participants receive a round of FootGolf, with complimentary beer, soda and water, while you are on the course.
– For those that want to simply watch the fun and become part of the gallery, we’ll have food and drink available to purchase.
– Proceeds go straight to Francis Park to keep it the jewel that it is in the 63109!
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email Jim Robben at jim.robben@wwt.com
So, tell a friend, neighbor, and relative that live in & out of 63109 and join us for a fun way to spend some time in a great city park!
Sincerely,
Jim Robben
